Our Design Commitment

At Pickdistrictharvst, we hold the conviction that structured, static sports archives must remain fully legible, navigable, and descriptive for all users, including those employing assistive technologies or customized input peripherals.

Implemented Accessibility Parameters

Our cartoon sport layout is engineered around the following criteria:

• Contrast & Color Logic

We combine bold Chalk (#F4F3ED), dark Night Ink (#0C1422), and high-contrast Electric Lime (#B8D85A) to achieve WCAG 2.1 AA compliant reading contrasts. We never employ color alone to represent important information (e.g. shootout outcomes are always explicitly spelled out in the visual markup).

• Full Keyboard Navigation

All focusable elements, custom inputs, navigation selections, and buttons are accessible via physical keyboard tabs. Active keyboard focuses display high-contrast, distinct solid borders to optimize visibility.

• Screen Reader Compatibility

We leverage semantic HTML5 elements (such as <header>, <main>, <article>, <footer>, and <nav>). Visual ornaments have appropriate aria tags, and functional icons feature robust descriptive alternatives.

• Fully Responsive Viewports

Our markup scales cleanly from narrow smartphones up to large 4K displays. Text sizes remain readable without clipping or vertical overflow, facilitating custom magnification.

Reporting Accessibility Bottlenecks

Should you encounter structural layout barriers or reading limitations on any page, we welcome your feedback. Please submit a notification via our contact form with the topic designation "Accessibility & Layout". Our developers in Vienna and Helsinki prioritize these requests.
